1. About Education On The Line
Education On The Line is an education-focused podcast examining issues affecting public education, including political, financial, legal, policy, and ideological developments and the strategies education leaders and decision-makers use to navigate those issues.
The podcast may feature journalists, researchers, educators, school leaders, policymakers, advocates, academics, and other guests.
The Content is provided for informational, educational, journalistic, and discussion purposes.
2. Editorial and Informational Content
Education On The Line discusses issues that may involve public policy, education law, politics, government action, finance, administration, research, and other complex or evolving subjects.
Although we make reasonable efforts to present useful and accurate information, the Content should not be considered a substitute for independent research or professional advice.
Information may become outdated as laws, policies, government actions, research findings, court decisions, funding conditions, institutional practices, and other circumstances change.
Users are responsible for evaluating information and consulting appropriate qualified professionals when making decisions based on matters discussed through Education On The Line.
3. No Legal, Financial, or Other Professional Advice
Nothing published by Education On The Line constitutes legal, financial, tax, employment, regulatory, mental-health, educational-placement, or other individualized professional advice.
Discussions concerning laws, regulations, court decisions, governmental policies, institutional practices, funding, or other professional matters are provided for general informational and journalistic purposes.
You should consult an appropriately qualified professional regarding advice applicable to your particular circumstances.
4. Guest and Contributor Views
Education On The Line features interviews, commentary, analysis, and opinions from guests, hosts, contributors, experts, and other participants.
Statements made by a guest or contributor represent that individual's views unless expressly stated otherwise.
The appearance of a guest does not necessarily mean that Education On The Line endorses every opinion, statement, organization, policy position, publication, or recommendation associated with that individual.
Similarly, references to organizations, schools, agencies, publications, products, services, or resources do not necessarily constitute endorsement.
5. Editorial Independence
Education On The Line determines its editorial content independently.
The inclusion or exclusion of a particular person, organization, policy position, research finding, viewpoint, or issue should not be interpreted as an endorsement, rejection, or comprehensive treatment of that subject.
Podcast episodes necessarily involve editorial selection and may not present every perspective relating to a topic.
6. Accuracy and Corrections
We make reasonable efforts to present information accurately at the time Content is produced or published.
However, we do not warrant that every statement, statistic, quotation, transcription, description, link, or other piece of information will be complete, current, or error-free.
News, policy, legal, regulatory, political, and educational developments may change after publication.
Where appropriate, material errors may be corrected or clarified. We are not obligated to update previously published Content solely because circumstances later change.
7. Podcast Transcripts
Transcripts may be generated manually, automatically, or through third-party transcription technologies.
Transcripts are provided as a convenience and may contain errors, omissions, incorrect names, punctuation errors, or other inaccuracies.
The recorded audio version of an episode should be considered the primary source when a transcript differs from the spoken recording.
Users should independently verify quotations or information before relying on a transcript for publication, academic work, legal proceedings, professional decisions, or other consequential purposes.
8. No Guarantee of Outcomes
Education On The Line may discuss strategies, practices, programs, policy approaches, leadership decisions, research findings, or experiences that have produced particular results in specific circumstances.
Those examples do not guarantee that similar approaches will produce the same results elsewhere.
Outcomes can vary based on circumstances including geography, demographics, funding, personnel, law, governance, political conditions, institutional capacity, and other factors.
